2009-10 SEASON SENIOR AWARD WINNERS
PHIL HOWDEN AND JULIAN MUSPRATT NAMED CLUB LIFE MEMBERS

(May 23 |10) The 2009-10 season finally wrapped up with the Club's presentation of it's senior award winners at the annual Senior Presentation Dinner, this year held at Yeronga Pool. The highlights of the evening included the announcement of a new perpetual trophy to be awarded annually for X Grade men in honour of the late Ray Gonzo White and the induction of two new club life members, Phil Howden and Julian Muspratt. Life Membership is one of the most prestigious honours to be bestowed by the Club unto a member and is given to individuals who, over extended periods of time, contribute to the club in any number of ways such as playing, coaching, officiating, supporting and volunteering. Both Phil and Julian have been involved with the Tugun/Barracudas Club for many decades - both have coached juniors and seniors, played, supported, volunteered and over countless years have been benchmark ambassadors for the sport and our club. The Club proudly adds these two fitting recipients to the very prestigious group of individuals who have recieved Life Membership honours over the years. To view all of the Club's Honoured Life Members - visit the Club's Hall of Fame MVPs and Coach's Award winners were announced for all Senior teams with MVPs receiving the Water Polo Warriors Book and Coach's Award winners receiving engraved glass sets of champagne flutes or beer mugs. Rhys Howden and Kate Gynther took out top honours both being named A Grade Premiership team MVPs and National League MVPs.
