2010-11 Awards Presentation and Break Up Celebration
(April 10|11) The 2010-11 Season ended this weekend for the local competition and the Barracudas Club celebrated with a fantastic end of season break up and awards presentation afternoon at Musgrave Pool attended by roughly 200 people. Players took great joy in having a go and dunking their coaches and some of the elite national league players in the Dunk Tank. Thanks to BJ, Claire and Fabs who were willing good sports and victims of the dunk tank. 150 pizzas were served, soft drinks and then the afternoon focused on the recognising all of our members and the outstanding achievements of the season. The club handed out awards for all age groups, juniors and seniors including MVPs and Coaches Awards (All award winners summarised below). The 
Club also recognised the perpetual trophy winners as well as the inclusion of a new award "Club Spirit Award" which is given this year to the person who inspired it - Jacque Giles. Claire Miller was also recognised receiving the Club Person of the Year Award for all of her efforts in terms of Coaching, Refereeing and coordinating all of our teams - a huge job. Following the formal awards presentations, ice creams were served up and everyone had the chance to say their final thank yous for another outstanding Barracudas Water Polo Season. A huge thank you to Jeanette Morris and her team as well as Leah and John Edwards who's organising abilities made the day a great success. Congrats to all the award winners and thank you to all who attended. What a fantastic way to the end the local season!
