Barracudas Named in Team of the Decade
Both Kate Gynther and Melissa Rippon were named in the AWPI Team of the decade at the recent AWPI Awards night for their performances internationally from 2001 until 2010. The men’s team of the decade was made up of Gavin Woods, James Stanton, Thomas Whalan, Tim Neesham, Trent Franklin, Sam McGregor and Nathan Thomas, while Kate and Mel were joined by Emma Knox, Gemma Beadsworth, Naomi Castle, Bronwen Knox and sisters Rebecca Rippon. |

BJ Howden makes debut in Senior International play at World League
After a stellar NWPL season, BJ Howden has made his Senior International debut representing Australia at the FINA World League. BJ joins fellow Barracudas on tour, Dan Young and brother Rhys. The Australian men downed their Trans Tasman rivals, New Zealand 22-4. |

Barracudas Seniors Notch Perfect Run at Brisbane Senior Grand Finals
Our Barracudas Senior teams took to the water today for the Grand Finals for the BWPI 2010-11 Season. Barracudas had teams in four of the five grand finals today including X Grade Men, Div 2 Women, Div 1 Women and Men and they did us very proud winning every Grand Final in which we appeared today. |

2010-11 Barracudas Club Break Up and Award Presentation

Barracudas Old Boys take two Golds at Pan Pacific Masters Champs
Congrats to our Barracudas Old Boys teams who took out double gold at the Pan Pacific Master Champs held at Miami Pool on the Gold Coast. Teams from Queensland and NSW competed with our Barracudas representing in the 40+ and 50+ age groups - both teams managed wins over much younger sides proving that experience goes a long way in the sport of water polo. |
