Uniform Coordinator

The Uniform Coordinator is the main point of contact in relation to matters relating to Barracudas Water Polo Club gear for the season. They are responsible for the supply, distribution and storage of standard Club Uniforms, and team uniforms for State and National competitions

Responsible to:
The Club Uniform Coordinator is responsible to the President and Executive Committee and reports directly with the Treasurer

Responsibilities and Duties:
The Club Uniform Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Reviewing stock levels of standard items of Club swimmers and Club shirts and drink bottles and make recommendations to the Committee regarding re-order levels;
  • Review, develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure best price and service;
  • Recommend purchase of merchandise for Come and Try Days and membership packs;
  • Recommend sale prices of stock to Committee ;
  • Coordinate three uniform days at the beginning of the season to distribute uniforms to players on confirmation of payment;
  • Recommend compulsory and optional uniforms to the Committee for State and National Competitions;
  • Ensure all uniforms conform to the Barracudas Branding Guidelines and are in line with any sponsorship guidelines;
  • Manage the uniform orders for State and National competitions, from distribution of order forms, sending details to Treasurer for invoicing, sending orders to supplier, distributing to teams;
  • Complete adhoc uniform requests when required;
  • Liaise with Trophy Coordinator regarding any merchandise needed for Presentation Evening;
  • Ensure adequate security and storage of stock.

Knowledge and Skills Required
Ideally the Uniform Coordinator is someone who is:

  • Well organised;
  • Commercially focused;
  • Can communicate effectively.

Estimated Time Commitment Required & Period of Appointment
The estimated time commitment required is 10 hours preseason, 3 hours each uniform day (X3), 5 hours each State/ National Competition (6 per season)
