We are excited as a club to introduce a New Senior Men’s Program and U21 Men’s Program for the 2025/2026 season.
The club is excited that Akos has accepted the Head Coach of Senior/U21 men’s program. Dylan McDonald is continuing to coach the reserve grade boys this season. Tomas and William Downes are going to coaching the U17/U18 boys program where a number of boys in that cohort are already playing in the senior teams.
Senior/U21 men’s training has commenced on Tuesday and Thursday. We will have a short break when the pool at Musgrave is closed in mid-June. We will recommence training after the pool closure (about 1 month).
Proposed Tours U21 2024/2025
- New Zealand Mens U21 Championship – Rotorua 23-27th of August 2025.
- NSW Men’s U22 State Championship – Sydney December 2025. (Dates to be confirmed)
- Cronulla invitational tournament - Sydney January 2026 (New Tournament similar to AYC but for U22 mens and womens)
Competitions for Opens UQ men’s water polo coming up later in the year;
- Premier League Reserves (currently running through to June)
- Premier League QLD Men’s (Sept through to December)
- Premier League Reserves Men’s (Sept through to December)
- Sydney Super League competition. (Further details to come, application has been made).
